I fell in love with car keys at 17, when I started programming them, and I never lost the bug. Cars, locks and the electronics inside keys are what I'm into.
NKeys Auto is me going out on my own: a local locksmith from Walsall who answers his own phone, tells you the price up front and does the job properly. The person you speak to is the person who turns up.

We check ownership on every job
Before we open a car or make a key, we see photo ID and the V5C logbook, or written permission from the registered keeper. It protects you, and it means we never help anyone into a car that isn't theirs.
Stop your car being stolen
Keyless cars are a common target for thieves using relay and key-cloning kit. A cloned key won't get past a hidden immobiliser: the car won't start until you enter your own PIN on the buttons it already has. There's no extra fob to carry and nothing for a thief to find.

Can you make a key if I've lost all of them?
Yes, for most makes. We cut and program a new key at your car. You'll need photo ID and the V5C logbook.
How much will it cost?
It depends on the vehicle, the job and where it is. Send your reg, what you need and your postcode, and we'll give you a fixed price before we come out.
Is it cheaper than the main dealer?
Usually, and you don't have to get the car to them. Send your reg for a fixed price and compare.
How quickly can you get to me?
It depends where you are and the time of day. We'll give you an honest arrival time when you call.
Will you damage my car?
No. We use specialist tools that open the lock without forcing it.
Why do you need my logbook?
So we only ever open cars or make keys for people entitled to them. For a lease or company car, we also need written permission from the registered keeper.
Can you program a key I bought online?
Often, if it's the right key for your car. Send us your reg and a photo of the key first, and we'll tell you before you pay anything.
Which vehicles do you work on?
Cars and vans, old and new. Send your reg and we'll confirm we can do it before we come out.
